What to expect during the expedition

The journey combines exploring Socotra’s landscapes, hiking and camping, so weather and local conditions influence the daily experience

Specific weather cannot be guaranteed for any departure, and some activities or the order of visits may be adjusted according to conditions and the local team’s assessment

Preparing for hiking and camping

Bring clothing suited to outdoor activities, comfortable walking shoes, sun protection and an extra layer for evenings

Departure days and flights

Our group expeditions start on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the same days as the direct Yemenia Airways flights from Jeddah to Socotra. When you choose a date, plan your journey to Jeddah so you can connect to the Socotra flight on that day
